remember: dias de destruccion fest starts this thursday!

hey guys, just a reminder that the dias de destruccion fest kicks off in just a couple of days! it's all going to be great, but a couple things of note:

thursday: get to beerland early - the altars play first and are debuting their new lineup (v3.0).

friday: xyx unfortunately won't be playing, but they've been replaced by the newly revived kegcharge. they're a spectacle in and of themselves and it's probably worth coming out just for the texas james mayhem that will surely go down.

saturday: the brat!

tickets for the beerland show aren't available in advance, but you can (and should) get tickets for the emo's shows.

we love robert collins

gentleman, scholar, and all around stand-up dude robert collins has an incredible blog up with rips of notable tapes that he's collected. the tapes run the gamut: from the 80s on, mixtapes, demos, noise, hardcore, etc etc. it's a pretty impressive collection with classic collins writeups for each entry.

oh man, this is so cool. check it out: terminal escape
